About 4 years ago I found myself not totally loving life.
You see that picture of me power cleaning? Cool right?
Yea, that was pretty much the type of face I gave people every day. That’s what it was like for me every day with friends, with family, with girls, with guys, and especially with new people.
Painful, Effortful, Stressful, Heavy-As-F*ck.
There I was an Aspiring Olympic Pole Vaulter underperforming for the 3rd year in a row. A 19-year-old who had to train, sprint, and lift with the little kid’s group.
I suddenly found myself surrounded by people who didn’t hold me to a high standard. Didn’t have a job. No fulfilling social life. And forget about a girlfriend.
On a typical 11:48pm Thursday night, you would probably find me Screen-In-Face, binge-watching YouTube videos. Procrastinating on homework given to me by professors who didn’t live the lifestyle I wanted anything to do with.
.
Short story long – I was a lone wolf without a pack.
